In this region spring arrives quite late, usually towards the end of May, when the mountain’s native flowers emerge through the last of the winter snow. The green season is from June to late October and during summer hiking from the ropeway station is highly recommended. There are a number of different mountain flowers which flourish across the mountain and you may also have the chance to see wild animals such as squirrels. In autumn, the colour of the mountain changes to vivid red and orange from the changing colours of the leaves.
