This year’s Christmas at Tomamu has a “Farm” theme. We’ve prepared a 4-meter-tall "Farm Tree" made with hay and a Christmas cake inspired by hay rolls. Plus, Santa Claus will be giving out milk candies made with Tomamu milk! Enjoy a unique Christmas experience at Hoshino Resorts TOMAMU, where you can feel the essence of the farm.
On hotalu street, a Christmas tree standing about 4 meters tall, set atop a hay roll, will make its appearance. The tree is adorned with white and black ornaments inspired by cow colors and decorated with milk bottle lights, bringing a farm-like charm to the scene. You can take pictures, admire the tree, and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere as you dine and shop on hotalu street.
If you call out to Santa Claus, you’ll receive a milk candy made with Tomamu milk. Cows store fat from autumn to winter to prepare for the cold, making the milk richer. This milk candy offers a creamy taste with gentle sweetness.

During the event, a special Christmas cake inspired by the hay rolls that cows eat will be available. Farm Hoshino is a sustainable agriculture project based on the philosophy that "the beautiful landscapes born from farming provide healing to travelers, and the crops produced enrich their journeys." Before the development of the resort, Tomamu was a land where around 700 cows were raised and farming was practiced. The project aims to restore the beautiful original scenery of that time, engage in production activities that create fresh and delicious food, and offer experiences unique to this land. The milk from cows raised within the resort is served in various places such as restaurants and shops.
